Full Team Communication

We will have a WhatsApp Chat for all of us. You can join the chat (and download the app if you don’t have it) by clicking this link: WP Team WhatsApp Group. Rev. Tierney will be a Cohort Leader at this year’s JLPA. Ava will be doing Onsite Coordination with Jené. DO NOT ASK TIERNEY FOR ANY ASSISTANCE OR INFORMATION. SHE WILL BE IN THE COHORT LEADER ROLE ONLY.

If you have a question and can’t find Ava, Jené, or Carla, please text us at 513-916-1260. All three of us will be checking this number. If you text us personally, it will get missed. Messages sent late in the evening may not receive a response until the next morning, but they will absolutely be answered. We encourage you to save this number as “JLPA Questions.”

Lodging

Our lodging is split between DeWire Residence Hall, the Kleist Manor, and the Helen Werner apartments. You can find your room assignment here: WP Team Room Assignments. IF YOU ARE IN DEWIRE, you will need a digital key to access your room. You should receive the email from BrivoAccess or BrivoPass in the days before your arrival. If you do not, let us know.

Arrivals, Check-In, and Departures

Please check your flight for any changes and share them if they occur. Arrivals and departures are detailed in the Moment to Moment schedule. Please send a message to 513-916-1260 letting us know you have landed and another when you have retrieved your bags. Transportation from the airport will be rideshare (Lyft). We can call a Lyft for you, or you can call on your own and be reimbursed. We will accommodate your preference.

Meals

Our first meal with everyone will be for dinner at 6:00 pm on Sunday. Lunch will be delivered for those staying on campus and arriving prior to 1:00 pm on Sunday. Breakfast on Sunday is “On Your Own” and reimbursable for those arriving Saturday. Dinner Saturday will be provided for those staying campus. You have the option of being reimbursed for a private meal or joining the team for dinner.

Monday through Friday:

all breakfasts are from 8:00 am to 9:00 am.

All lunches are from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

All dinners are from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

NO MEALS WILL BE REIMBURSED beyond Dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, and meals at airports. If ou choose not to eat at Dunn Dining Hall for the provided meals, those meals will not be reimbursed.

Our last program meal will be breakfast on Saturday.

Please review the Reimbursement Policy. WomanPreach! Inc. does not reimburse for purchases of alcohol.

Dress for Thursday and Friday

Please save your JLPA t-shirt for Friday and bring something all-black to wear on Thursday for “Thursdays in Black.”

Honoraria and Reimbursements

Honoraria will be paid or processed upon arrival to campus. Those who requested a paper check will receive it in hand once they arrive on campus. Those who request ACH payment will receive their funds in their account approximately three (3) business days after arrival.

All reimbursement requests and all receipts must be submitted no later than Monday, June 22, 2026. Any requests received after June 22nd may not be reviewed and processed until July 15th. Please review the Reimbursement Policy.

Weather

Weather in the Midwest can vary widely in the summer (even on a single day). Please check the weather frequently and prepare for heat, humidity, heavy precipitation, thunderstorms, sun, and cooler days. Please also be mindful of the UV index and air quality. These conditions can be challenging, especially in the Midwest summer humidity.

Photography

We will have a professional photographer with us for the entire week. All photos will be used for WomanPreach! Inc. digital and print materials, as well as historical records. Please let Jené know if you have any questions. We will not be recording full sessions. Participants will be instructed to share only quotes or photos throughout the week, with the permission of those they are documenting.
