<image:title>The Gospel According to Women 2020 - Waiting for a Just Kin-Dom - Reverend Chenda Innis Lee has been in pastoral ministry for over ten years. A gifted preacher and teacher, she has served as an associate and senior pastor of churches in the northern Virginia region. Her ministry is deeply influenced by Jesus’ message of inclusion for those on the margins of society and a desire for all God’s people to live fully and freely in the abundance of God’s grace. A native of Liberia, West Africa, she came to the United States when she was sixteen, after surviving Liberia’s civil war. She and her husband, Asa, met during their time at Wesley Theological Seminary. They are stewards of four spirited daughters—Akeemah, Jaanaiya, Cydah, and Camaini.</image:title>

<image:title>The Gospel According to Women 2020 - The Peculiarity of Betrayal - Reverend Charisse Renee Tucker was both licensed to the Gospel Ministry on March 18, 1997 and ordained on June 19, 2001 at the Metropolitan Baptist Church under the leadership of Senior Minister Dr. H. Beecher Hicks, Jr. A native of Philadelphia, PA, she accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of eleven and was baptized at Philippian Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Pastor S. Amos Brackeen. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard University (1998) and a Master of Divinity degree from Howard University School of Divinity (2001). In 2001 she was honored to receive the W. O Carrington Award for Preaching, an award which she was humbled to receive at the request of her seminary professors. In 2004, Reverend Tucker was led of God to return to her hometown, Philadelphia to serve as an associate in the church of her youth, the Philippian Baptist Church, which at that time was under the leadership of their newly elected pastor, Reverend Arlington Medley. In May of 2009 Reverend Tucker joined the St. Paul’s Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Leslie D. Callahan, who was the newly elected Pastor at that time. She currently serves at St. Paul’s as the Minister of Administration. In the summer of 2009, Reverend Tucker began working with WomanPreach! Inc. (a voice-based work committed to training and assisting preaching women in discovering, uncovering, re-envisioning, and strengthening voice around Womanist/Feminist concerns of justice and equality) where she served as the Executive Director until August 2013. Committed to the work of WomanPreach!, she continues to serve a cohort leader. Reverend Tucker is a writer whose insights and reflections can be read on her blog, Becoming www.becomingmoreme.wordpress.com. Reverend Tucker holds dear to her heart, Psalm 138, which reminds her that the Lord “will fulfill God’s purpose for [God’s people].</image:title>

      <image:title>GATW 2025 - An Emotion-Filled Letter to My Niece - Rev. Kym McNair</image:title>
<image:caption>Rev. McNair is the descendant of enslaved Africans, Jamaican immigrants, community organizers, preachers and teachers and carries their legacies as she works to address the oppressions that are impacting all of humanity, and especially the ways systemic racism disempowers Black women and girls. She owes her community organizing energy to her mother, E. Theresa McNair, who SAFETY-planned her way out of Jim Crow Mississippi (Goddam) during the end of the Great Migration, came to New York and worked on behalf of incarcerated women and local residents who experienced the trauma of poverty manifested in hunger and homelessness. Professionally, Rev. McNair organizes on behalf of all people who have experienced the imposition of power and control in their intimate relationships with their partners and in the constellation of systems they are forced to interact with every day. Rev. McNair Kym has spoken on panels, facilitated conversations for religious and civic organizations across Westchester and has consulted with local congregations which are endeavoring to incorporate anti-racism principles into their ministries. Kym serves on the Board of Directors of Caring for the Hungry and Homeless (CHHOP) and the Westchester Womens Agenda based in Westchester County, New York where she is a member of the Reproductive Justice and Race Equity Working Groups. A lifelong fan of sci-fi and fantasy, she enjoys Afro- and African futurism fiction where the protagonists are women of various hues. Whether she is out walking her rescue dog, Simba or tending to her gardens, she dreams of a world in the not-so-distant future when like the protagonists in her favorite literary genre, Black women’s voices are heard, their leadership is followed, and their lives are protected.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Rev. Dr. Chelsea Brooke Yarborough is the Associate Director of Leadership Programming at the Association of Theological Schools. She is an alumnus of Elon University (B.A.), Wake Forest University (MDiv) and Vanderbilt University (PhD). Dr. Yarborough’s work seeks to challenge normative power structures and traditional paradigms of proclamation, advocating for diverse platforms beyond the pulpit to amplify the voices of those that have not always been heard. At her core, she is dedicated to empowering individuals—regardless of their platform—to find, embrace, and use their voices to foster well-being, equity and the possibilities of flourishing. Dr. Yarborough is also a leadership coach, an Enneagram teacher, and a poet. Above all, she values her roles as a partner, daughter, friend, sister, and auntie.</image:caption>

      <image:title>GATW 2026 - Holy Monday: A Moment of Care - Shakethia 'Queen' Robertson</image:title>
<image:caption>Queen’s journey with yoga began as a personal search for self-care, healing, and peace. What she found was something deeper: a space where breath became prayer, movement became communion, and stillness became sacred. Over time, the mat became more than a place of physical practice. It became a sanctuary where she could meet God, grieve, celebrate, rest, and reconnect with my truest self. Queen created Sacred Spaces Yoga for others who are also navigating life’s transitions as well as those who feel like they’re shedding old identities, questioning long-held beliefs, or simply longing for a moment to exhale. Whether you arrive with faith or with questions, with grief or with hope, you are welcome. Through Christ-centered yoga and spiritually rooted flows, her work is about creating spaces where you can return to yourself and to God. It’s about reclaiming rest, practicing presence, and embodying freedom. This is your invitation to pause, breathe, and be held.</image:caption>
